Required products :

1 kg of squid
2 onions
4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
oil
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Clean the squid, wash them and put in boiling water for 2 minutes, then dry.

When you have done all this, cut them into circles (if the squid are small) or straws (if they are larger). Cut the onion into semicircles and the garlic into small pieces.

Heat a little oil in a suitable pan and fry the onion in it. Then add the squid, stir and let cook for about a minute.

While they are frying over high heat, add the sugar, stir and pour in the soy sauce. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste and stir again.

2 minutes later, remove the pan from the heat and add the crushed or finely chopped garlic to the finished dish. Mix everything and serve in a deep plate.
