Required products :

  • 250 grams of biscuits
  • 150 grams of milk chocolate
  • 150 grams of dark chocolate
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 150 grams of golden syrup
  • 100 grams of dried apricots, chopped
  • 75 grams of raisins
  • 60 grams of chopped pecans

Method of preparation :

Put a large sheet of stretch film on the bottom of the tray (20 cm) and on the walls, let out part of the film on the side of the dish.

Put the biscuits in an envelope and break them up by pounding them with a rolling pin to make them into pieces.

Put the chocolate in a fireproof bowl, add the butter and the golden syrup and place on a bowl of boiling water. Stir to melt and combine the sweet products.

Remove from the heat and add the crushed biscuits, apricots, raisins and nuts (if using).

Transfer the mixture to the pan and flatten by pressing with a spoon.

Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.

Before serving, remove the cake from the pan and remove the foil. Cut into pieces.
