How To Cook Chocolate Cake With Nuts And Dates Without Eggs And Fat - Recipe

Required products :

  • about 200 grams of pitted dates
  • about 200 grams of wholemeal flour
  • about 150 grams of walnuts
  • about 50 grams of oat bran
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • about 60 grams of cane sugar
  • 400 grams of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • melted chocolate for spreading

Method of preparation :

Cut the dates into 4 pieces and place them in a suitable deep bowl. Fill them with a little boiling water and when it cools, dissolve the honey. Leave the mixture to stand for half an hour.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the oat bran, add the crushed walnuts, sugar, baking soda, ginger and sour cream.

Mix everything well and combine with dates and honey. Stir thoroughly again.

Pour the resulting dough into a baking dish, which you have previously greased with oil.

Bake the cake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.

Melt the chocolate and cover the finished culinary temptation with it. Garnish with walnuts and serve.
