Grate the chocolate. Mix the flour, cocoa, a little salt and baking powder.
Using a mixer, beat the butter with the date sugar until the mixture is fluffy and light (for about 4-5 minutes). Add the egg yolks one by one, add the vanilla and 1 teaspoon of water. Reduce the speed of the appliance and start adding the flour mixture. Finally, add the grated chocolate and stir for another 30 seconds on a higher level of the mixer. The mixture will be crumbly and dry.
Transfer the dough to a large tray lined with plastic wrap and use it (folding it several times) to form a roll with a diameter of about 5 centimeters. Cool for 45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and line a shallow cookie sheet with paper.
Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into slices and arrange in the tray. Sprinkle with a mixture of seeds and salt.
Bake for about 11-13 minutes, until done.
