Required products :

  • 400 ml high-fat liquid cream (33-35%)
  • 400 grams of broken chocolate (dark, milk or a combination of both)
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons favorite liqueur (you can replace with your favorite fruit juice)
  • 50 grams of walnuts or other nuts
  • 50 grams of biscuits (or sponge cake)
  • oil to lubricate the bottom of the form

Method of preparation :

Using a food processor or blender, grind together the walnuts or other nuts with the biscuits / sponge cake.

Mix the cream with the broken small pieces of chocolate, add the powdered sugar and put the combination on low heat. Stir until you get a homogeneous cream, which you pour the liqueur. Stir and allow to cool.

Cover a suitable container with plastic wrap or parchment paper, grease with oil and spread half of the biscuit-walnut mixture. Flatten and press lightly against the bottom of the tray.

On this base, apply the chocolate cream (chilled).

Sprinkle the surface with the remaining amount of ground biscuits and walnuts and refrigerate for 3-4 hours (or more).

When the dessert has cooled, carefully remove from the pan, remove the foil / parchment, cut into pieces and enjoy the fine chocolate flavor.
