Required products :

  • 250 grams of butter + another 300 grams of cream (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/3 tea cup sugar
  • 4 eggs - at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 1/3 tea cup + 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 400 grams of chocolate mini eggs - Easter
  • 3 teaspoons powdered sugar, sifted
  • 300 grams of dark chocolate

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Spread two cake trays with a diameter of 20 centimeters. Line their base with baking paper.

Beat 250 grams of butter with the sugar until a creamy mixture is obtained. Add the eggs one by one. Sift the flour with the cocoa into the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Finally add the vanilla and stir.

Distribute the mixture between the two pans and bake for 50 minutes until dry. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.

Prepare the butter cream by beating 300 grams of butter with powdered sugar. Finally add 2 tablespoons of milk and melted chocolate.

Cut the marshmallows horizontally so that you get a total of 4 marshmallows.

In two of the countertops, make a round 10 cm hole in the center (it is easiest to use a cookie cutter).

Place the cake on a tray and place a whole loaf on top. Spread a little butter cream, then put the next loaf - cut. Grease the edges well and place the other one, which also has a hole in the center. Spread well on top. Fill the hole with half of the chocolate eggs (leaving them with the foil) and place the last tray on top.

Spread the cake with butter cream and decorate with the remaining eggs. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
