How To Cook Chocolate Tart With Berries And Hazelnuts - Recipe

Raw vegan dessert without gluten, suitable for paleo mode. You don't need extra sugar or other processed ingredients to make this sweet dessert with a rich hazelnut flavor. 

Required products :

for the base:

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • 1/3 cup roasted cocoa beans
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons of water if needed

for the filling:

  • 1 cup date sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 2 ripe avocados

for garnish:

  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup roasted hazelnuts, crushed

* A tea cup is used to measure the quantities.

Method of preparation :

the basis:

Place the baking paper in a rectangular tart tray with a falling bottom.

Blend dates, hazelnuts, almonds, cocoa beans, coconut oil, sea salt and vanilla extract until sticky. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of water. Pour the mixture into the pan and with slightly moistened hands press evenly on the bottom and sides of the pan. Refrigerate while you make the filling.

the filling:

Blend the date sugar, cocoa powder, sea salt, vanilla extract, coconut oil and avocado until smooth. Spread the filling on the cooled base and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until firm.

Garnish with fresh raspberries, strawberries and hazelnuts, cut into pieces and serve.
