How To Cook Christmas Cookies Stuffed With Almonds, Dried Fruits, Cognac And Cinnamon - Recipe

Necessary products

For the dough:

100 grams of butter
2 tablespoons sour cream
150 grams of cane sugar (100 grams for the dough and 50 grams for the filling)
200 grams of flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 egg for spreading
50 grams of dark chocolate

For the stuffing:

100 grams of almonds
50 grams of prunes
50 grams of dried apricots
1 tablespoon cognac
1/5 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Method of preparation :

Mix the butter with the sour cream, 100 grams of cane sugar and vanilla.

 

Gradually add the flour with the baking powder.

 

Form the finished dough into a ball and put it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.

 

Grind the almonds with a blender, add the dried fruit and grind once more together.

 

Then add the remaining sugar, cinnamon and pour the cognac. Stir.

 

 

Take the dough out of the fridge, roll it out thinly and cut out circles (about 7 cm in diameter, for example). Spread the filling on half of them and close it with the rest.

 

Pinch the edges and smear the surface with egg.

 

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven (180 degrees) for 15-20 minutes.

 

Garnish with melted chocolate.
