Required products :

  • 8 strips of bacon
  • 150 grams of goat cheese
  • 16 large dates
  • toothpicks

Method of preparation :

  • Make an incision on one side of each date and remove the stone.
  • Using a small spoon, fill it with goat cheese and press the sides to close.
  • Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap around the dates, then secure with a toothpick.
  • Arrange on a greased baking tray lined with parchment paper, placing the bites with the incisions facing up so that the cheese does not run out.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  • Turn on the other side and bake for another 5-8 minutes until the bacon turns golden brown.
  • Remove the prepared bites on kitchen paper to drain off excess fat and wait at least 5 minutes before serving.
