Required products :

350 grams of flour

1 teaspoon dry yeast

80 grams of sugar

150 milliliters of fresh milk

1 egg

60 grams of butter

1 teaspoon ground cardamom

pinch of salt

 

For the stuffing:

60 grams of butter

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

 

Method of preparation :

Lightly beat the egg with a fork, half will be needed for the dough and the rest - for spreading.

Dissolve the yeast in 2-3 tablespoons of warm milk and leave for 10 minutes to allow the mixture to increase in volume.

Melt the butter and cool slightly. Add the milk and yeast, then the sugar, half the egg, a pinch of salt, cardamom and flour. Knead the dough and let it rise for about 30 - 40 minutes.

Sprinkle the kitchen counter with flour and knead the dough slightly. It should be soft. Roll it into a rectangular layer.

Make the filling. Melt the butter with the sugar, add the cinnamon. Using a brush, gently apply the mixture to the surface of the layer, then roll. Cut into pieces and arrange them in a tray. Cover and leave for an hour to rise.

Spread the bread with the remaining egg and bake in the oven at 230 degrees for about 8-10 minutes.

Cover with a towel and let cool slightly.
