Required products :
- 200 grams of ricotta
- 2 eggs
- 1 pod of vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 70 grams of flour
- peel of 1 lemon, finely grated
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
For sprinkling :
- powdered sugar
- cinnamon
- liquid honey
Method of preparation :
- In a large bowl, beat the ricotta and eggs with a mixer until smooth.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until homogeneous.
- Heat oil to a depth of about 6-7 centimeters in a pan or small saucepan over medium heat.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of the dough into the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Turn periodically.
- Fry the donuts in batches, according to the size of the dish.
- Serve warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar, honey and cinnamon.
