Required products :

  • 1 oil crust for pie
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 tea cup of fresh milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten

Method of preparation :

  • Place the pie crust in a form covered with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 220 degree oven for about 10 minutes. The finished crust will have a golden color and will look dry.
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, mix the sugar, flour and salt.
  • Add the melted butter, milk, vinegar and vanilla extract. Stir with a wooden spoon until a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the eggs and stir again.
  • Pour the mixture into the pie crust and bake for about 50 minutes.
  • 10 minutes after the start, cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil so that they do not overcook.
  • Cool the pie on a wire rack, cut and serve.
