Required products :
2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon sugar
750 milliliters of chilled dry champagne
5 teaspoons white rum
2 teaspoons of pomegranate juice
1 large lemon, cut into thin slices
pomegranate seeds
fresh mint leaves (optional)
ice cubes
Method of preparation :
Mix the water and sugar in a saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil (stir until the sugar dissolves). Let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes, after which the syrup should cool completely.
In a separate bowl, mix the champagne, rum and pomegranate juice. Pour the combination into a suitable glass and add as much syrup as you want to sweeten the drink. Then put lemon slices, pomegranate seeds and ice cubes.
The cocktail is ready.
