Required products :

  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • 200 grams of natural chocolate
  • 40 grams of coconut oil
  • 100 grams of dates
  • 50 grams of prunes
  • 160 grams of wholemeal flour (einkorn or other)
  • 160 grams of nuts (walnuts or other), finely chopped
  • 3-4 tablespoons low-fat cocoa
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 10-20 milliliters of orange juice (fresh milk or other liquid)

for decoration:

  • 50 grams of white chocolate
  • 50 grams of natural chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Soak the ground flaxseed in a small bowl with 4 tablespoons of water.

Melt the natural chocolate and coconut oil in a water bath.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda and mix well. Add the chocolate mixture and flaxseed to the dry ingredients and mix until homogeneous. Add the chopped nuts and orange juice. Homogenize.

Place baking paper in a rectangular shape and pour the mixture. Squeeze with your fingers, forming the mixture evenly on the bottom of the pan. Bake in the oven with a fan for 25 minutes, then remove and allow the block to cool for 10 minutes.

Then turn over on a wire rack, remove the baking paper and allow to cool completely.

Melt in a water bath in a small bowl white chocolate with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Do the same with natural chocolate in a separate bowl. Decorate the blocks with the obtained glaze and, if desired, sprinkle with sugar balls.
