Required products :

  • 185 milliliters of milk
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 225 grams of self-swelling flour
  • 155 grams of brown sugar
  • 30 grams of cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 dark chocolates
  • vanilla ice cream for serving

for the sauce:

  • 140 grams of brown sugar
  • 30 grams of cocoa
  • 375 milliliters of boiling water

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a rectangular pan (20 by 30 centimeters) with oil.

Heat the milk, butter and vanilla in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until the butter melts. Cool.

Using a whisk, mix the flour with the brown sugar and cocoa. Pour the cooled mixture with butter and milk to it. Add the eggs and stir. Pour into the pan.

Prepare the chocolate sauce by combining cocoa, sugar and hot water. Stir to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Pour the sauce over the dough and bake for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, divide the chocolates into tiles.

Arrange them on the whole cake and return for another 2-3 minutes in the oven to melt.

Serve with ice cream if desired.
