Learn how to cook "Coconut Christmas dessert with walnuts and apricot jam". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
300 grams of flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
210 grams of sugar
3 packets of vanilla
pinch of salt
325 grams of butter
1 egg
200 grams of walnuts
125 milliliters of liquid cream
200 grams of coconut shavings
200 grams of apricot jam
dark and white chocolate for decoration
Method of preparation :
Add baking powder, 60 grams of sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 packet of vanilla and 125 grams of butter, cut into cubes. Pour 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir quickly. Make a smooth dough and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In a suitable bowl, mix the liquid cream with the remaining amounts of butter and sugar, put the other 2 packets of vanilla and place the combination on the stove. Stir and wait for it to boil. Then add the chopped or coarsely chopped walnuts, coconut shavings and let the mixture cool a bit.
Cover the bottom of the form (measuring 35 x 40 cm) with a sheet of parchment, spread the rolled dough on it.
Spread it with apricot jam, then distribute the coconut mixture and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at 150-170 degrees.
Allow the dessert to cool slightly and cut off the edges, as they are usually toasted. Cut into squares, diagonally to make triangles. Let cool completely and dip their corners in melted white and / or dark chocolate. You can make chocolate touches on the surface.
