Required products :
1 coconut
1 liter of white rum
1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar (or 2 drops of vanilla essence, or 1/3 stick of vanilla)
750 grams of sugar
250 milliliters of water
Method of preparation :
Grind the soft part of the coconut with a blender or grate, pour the rum and let the mixture stand for 8-10 days, stirring periodically, shaking the dish.
Then strain through a clean cotton cloth.
Boil a thick syrup of water and sugar, add the selected vanilla flavor.
When the syrup has cooled, pour in the coconut rum and let the drink mature. The longer it stays, the better.
Serve chilled with ice cubes.
