Required products :

500 - 520 grams of high quality white wheat flour

80 - 85 grams of butter

2 fresh eggs

200 - 250 milliliters of coconut milk (can be replaced with cow's milk)

20 - 25 grams of fresh yeast

50 - 60 grams of coconut shavings

60 - 65 grams of chocolate drops

70 - 75 grams of granulated sugar

2 - 3 grams of salt

vanilla sugar to taste (you can mix vanilla and plain sugar)

For the chocolate bars:

5 - 6 grams of cocoa powder

20 - 25 grams of high quality wheat flour

35 - 40 milliliters of cold water

For syrup :

70 - 75 grams of granulated sugar

70 - 80 milliliters of cold water

Method of preparation :

Heat some of the milk, pour in the sugar, add the yeast and leave for as long as it takes to form a "foam cap".

Heat the remaining milk well, add the eggs, salt and melted butter. Then add the flour, coconut shavings, vanilla sugar and knead a soft dough. Knead thoroughly for 10 minutes, place in a dry bowl, cover with a clean towel and leave in a warm place. The dough should rise twice. After the first leavening, mix it and add the chocolate drops. Wait for it to rise a second time.

To make chocolate bars, you need to mix wheat flour, cocoa and water. Pour the mixture into a pouch.

Form round rolls from the dough, arrange in a pan greased with oil and leave to rise for about 25-30 minutes.

Then, using a grater, "paint" thin strips on the surface of the rolls and bake for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 210 degrees. During this time, make the syrup, which will serve as a glaze. Mix the water and sugar and let it boil for 5 minutes. Coat the rolls with the warm liquid and leave to cool.

Enjoy your meal!
