Necessary products:

  • 4 proteins
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 300 grams of grated coconut
  • 50 grams of sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • salt on top of a teaspoon

Method of preparation:

Put a metal bowl in a pot of boiling water. In a bowl, mix the sugar, salt and egg whites. The mixture should be stirred constantly until it warms up and acquires a creamy consistency. Then remove the bowl from the heat and add the vanilla essence, flour and coconut. Mix everything thoroughly. Cover the dish with a towel or foil and refrigerate for 2 hours. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and after the specified time, remove the mixture from the refrigerator. Form hemispheres with a diameter of about 4-5 centimeters. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and bake the cakes for 20 minutes.

You can decorate the coconuts with whipped cream, sprinkle with coconut shavings or powdered sugar.
