How To Cook Corn Dough Pizza With Sardines, Tomatoes And Mozzarella - Recipe

Necessary products

For the dough:

100 grams of corn flour
100 grams of wheat flour
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
125 milliliters of water
1 teaspoon dry yeast

For the stuffing:

180 grams canned sardines
1 large tomato
100 grams mozzarella or more (to taste)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon soy sauce a
pinch of sugar
basil leaves for decoration

Method of preparation :

In a large bowl, mix the two types of flour, add the yeast, warm water, salt, sugar and olive oil.

 

Mix until smooth, then add a little more white flour and knead the dough. If necessary, use more flour, the dough should not stick to your hands.

 
Shape into a ball, sprinkle with flour, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for an hour to rise.

 
Drain the fish from the fat, put on a napkin. Cut the tomatoes into circles.

 

Grate the mozzarella.

 

Mix the tomato puree with the soy sauce and sugar.

 
Roll out the dough (you can make one large pizza or several small ones).

 

Spread it with tomato sauce.

  

Arrange the sardines and tomato pieces.

  

Sprinkle with grated mozzarella and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 20 minutes.

 

Garnish the finished pizza with fresh basil leaves and serve.
