Required products :

  • 1 head of corn
  • 220 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 220 milliliters of liquid cream with a fat content of 20%
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Method of preparation :

Separate the grains from the cobs of corn, put them in a saucepan, pour the milk and cream. Let everything simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then carefully add the yolks, sugar and vanilla extract. Stir and cook for another 10 minutes. The mixture should thicken slightly. When you remove from the heat, wait for it to cool, transfer to a suitable container and refrigerate for an hour or two. Stir occasionally during this time. After 2 hours, distribute the resulting ice cream in suitable molds or cups and put in the freezer to freeze.
