Required products :

  • 200 grams of ground corn kernels
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of liquid honey
  • powdered sugar to sprinkle on the finished dish
  • 200 grams of fresh or frozen fruit

 

Method of preparation :

Pour two tea cups of water into a suitable container and place on the hob. Once the liquid boils, pour in the ground corn kernels and cook until done (about 10-12 minutes), stirring constantly.

Then turn off the stove, add the butter to the porridge, stir and transfer the mixture to a sheet of parchment, distribute it evenly.

Store in the refrigerator overnight, and the next day, using a round cake tin or other suitable device, cut the medallions out of the layer.

Fry them on both sides in a small amount of hot oil. They should acquire a golden crispy crust.

Remove to a plate, pour honey and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Serve with fresh or frozen fruit and a piece of butter.
