Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons white flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter, melted and cooled

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Grease a rectangular pan with oil.

Mix the sugar, cornmeal, salt, sugar, pepper and baking powder.

Beat the eggs, buttermilk and butter in a bowl.

Make a well in the flour and pour the liquid ingredients inside, mix with a wooden spatula to combine.

Put the dough in the pan and flatten.

Bake for about 20-25 minutes until dry.

Wait for the bread to cool in the pan, then remove and cut.
