Required products :

  • 3/4 teaspoon couscous
  • 3/4 tea cup of water
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons raisins
  • pinch of salt
  • raisins and cinnamon for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan, along with the salt.
  • Remove from the heat, add the couscous, cover and allow to swell for about 5 minutes.
  • In a separate saucepan, heat the milk, vanilla, honey and cinnamon over low heat.
  • After 10 minutes, add the raisins and simmer for another minute, stirring often all the time.
  • Mix the couscous well, pour the milk sauce over it and stir again.
  • Allow the pudding to cool and thicken for 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Serve warm, sprinkled with cinnamon and raisins.
