Use a frozen mix of fish and mussels to prepare this Moroccan dish served on spicy couscous with almonds.

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hot Harris paste
  • 2 cans x 400 grams of diced tomatoes
  • 400 grams of canned chickpeas
  • 350 grams of frozen seafood mix
  • 300 grams of couscous
  • coriander leaves, chopped
  • 25 grams of sliced ​​almonds
  • peel and juice of 1/2 lemon + 1/2 lemon, cut into pieces

Method of preparation :

Heat olive oil and fry the onion and red pepper in it until soft. Add the garlic, hot Harissa paste and diced tomatoes, cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Pour in the frozen seafood and cook for another 10 minutes.

Put the couscous * in a bowl and pour boiling water to cover it. Cover with a lid and set aside until cooked through. Add coriander, almonds, lemon zest and juice and season to taste.

* Another option is to boil the couscous in boiling water, drain and serve in a bowl. 

Serve the seafood with the couscous, garnish with lemon slices and sprinkle with the remaining coriander.
