Necessary products :

  • 350 grams of fresh or frozen red blueberries
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • a small sprig of rosemary 
  • salt to taste
  •  

Preparation :

Grate the ginger and mix it with the cranberries and sugar in a suitable bowl. If you use fresh fruit, add a few tablespoons of water.
Put the mixture on the stove and bring to a boil. Then pour in the wine vinegar and add a sprig of rosemary, which you pre-grind or chop finely.

Cook the combination for 15 minutes on low heat, the sauce should thicken a little.  Remove from the heat and allow to cool.   Then you can serve.
