Required products :

  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • whipped cream
  • caramelized sugar

Method of preparation :

  • In a deep bowl, beat the eggs, pumpkin, milk and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, cornstarch and spices, then add them to the pumpkin mixture.
  • Stir well until homogenous.
  • Caramelize sugar and cover the bottom of 4 cups of caramel cream.
  • Distribute the mixture in the cups and arrange them in a tray, at the bottom of which you have previously added warm water.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes or until browned.
  • Serve the caramel cream hot or cold, garnished with whipped cream.
