Necessary products:
1 liter of cream (with 33% fat, but maybe less)
7 egg yolks
150 grams of cane sugar
3 tablespoons ground coffee
Method of preparation:
Make very strong coffee. Put the cream on the stove at a moderate temperature and wait for it to boil, but do not cook under any circumstances. Meanwhile, beat the yolks with the sugar. Mix the coffee with the cream and gradually add the yolks a little. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. The mixture will thicken when the desired consistency is obtained, remove from the heat, but continue to stir, let it cool a bit.
Pour into suitable containers and place in the freezer, removing and stirring every hour to obtain an ice cream with a uniform consistency. Garnish with nuts, fruits or whatever you want.
