  • Required products :

    • 150 - 200 grams of red lentils
    • 2 carrots
    • 1 medium onion (or 2 small ones)
    • 1 potato
    • 2 fresh tomatoes
    • oil
    • spices

     

    Method of preparation :

    Cut onions and tomatoes into large pieces. Pour enough oil into the pan to cover the bottom of the pan and sauté the onions and tomatoes in it for 15 minutes. Grate carrots and potatoes on a coarse grater, add them to stewed vegetables. Let them simmer for 20-25 minutes on low heat, stirring so as not to burn. Then pour 2 cups boiling water, pour the lentils, simmer another 20 minutes. Add the spices.

    When you remove the lentils from the hob, wait for it to cool down a bit and puree with a blender.
