How To Cook Cream Of Salmon Soup With Potatoes And Onions - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Salmon cream soup with potatoes and onions". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 120 grams of salmon
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 10 grams of butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh parsley
  • a little salt
  • 3 pinches ground coriander
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1.2 liters of water

Method of preparation :

Peel and wash the onions and potatoes. The salmon can be fresh or lightly salted, and both products will make a delicious soup.

Cut the onion into small cubes, fry in butter over low heat, stirring. After 3-4 minutes, remove the pan from the heat.

Also cut the potatoes into small cubes or straws - the goal is to cook faster. Pour them into a saucepan, add onions, pieces of salmon, parsley (you can also add fennel, parsnips). Add salt, spices to taste, bay leaf and pour water. Place the pan on the hob, wait for the liquid to boil and reduce the temperature. Boil the soup for about 20-25 minutes, then let it cool a bit, remove the bay leaf and a few pieces of fish. If the broth is too much, take some of it.

Puree the soup until smooth. Serve the dish immediately, decorating it with the separated pieces of salmon, sprigs of fresh parsley, you can also add croutons.

Have a good time!
