Required products :

  • 1 small turnip
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2-3 tablespoons of rice
  • small onion (or 1/2)
  • onion frying oil
  • spices and salt to taste
  • several slices of bread to serve

 

Method of preparation:

Peel a carrot and a turnip, cut them and put them in a saucepan.

 

Add a few tablespoons of rice (maybe more than the specified amount, if you prefer), fill everything with water (at your discretion) and place the dish on the stove.

 

Boil the vegetables for 20-25 minutes, then puree with a blender (or use a blender). Add salt and return the porridge to the heat to boil again.

 

Fry onions in a little oil, dry a few slices of bread in the oven.

Distribute the cream soup in bowls or plates and serve with crispy onions and bread.
