How To Cook Cream-soup Of Lettuce With Potatoes And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 head of Roman salad (Romano)
  • 1-2 lettuce
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 milliliters of high-fat salad (33-38%)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • sol
  • croutons or toast


Method of preparation :

Peel a potato, cut it into small cubes, put in a large saucepan and pour a liter of boiling water. Add salt and cook until soft (about 20 minutes).

Peel an onion and garlic cloves, saturate them and fry in butter over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Then pour over the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.

Coarsely chop the two types of lettuce leaves, add them to the pan with the other products, stir and let the mixture boil. Then remove from the heat and beat with a blender until smooth.

Finally, pour the cream, season, let the soup boil again and you can now serve it, garnished with croutons or toast.
