Bruschettas are a dish that can always save you when unexpected guests arrive. Crispy, very tasty and economical, the bonus is that they can be prepared from almost anything that is in your refrigerator at any time. We offer you another idea for delicious bruschettas, this time with ricotta and broccoli.

Required products :

  • 1 baguette, cut into diagonal slices (12 pieces in total)
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into small roses
  • 1 head of garlic, divided into whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ricotta

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the slices of bread, lightly greased with olive oil. When they become crispy, take them out of the oven.

In another pan put the broccoli and whole unpeeled garlic cloves. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and season to taste.

Bake for 20 minutes, until done.

Meanwhile, mix the honey with the vinegar and hot pepper in a small bowl of i sauce.

Squeeze the garlic cloves in a bowl and mash to make a paste from them. Add the ricotta and stir, season to taste with salt and pepper.

Coat the toasted slices with ricotta and place a few roasted broccoli roses on top.

Drizzle with the sweet sauce and serve.

Instead of ricotta, you can use cottage cheese, which you beat well in a robot to get a creamy and finer texture.
