How To Cook Croissants With Melted Cheese And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Croissants with melted cheese and yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.

Method of preparation:

  • 50-60 g butter (30-40 g for the dough and 10-20 g for spreading)
  • 100 g of melted cheese
  • 100 g of cottage cheese
  • 100 ml of warm water
  • 0.5 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp dry yeast
  • 2.5-3.0 tsp flour
  • 40-50 g of yellow cheese
  • salt (coarse)
  • 1 egg for spreading

Method of preparation:

Grate the yellow cheese on a fine grater. Allow the butter to soften to the consistency of cream, but do not melt. Set aside 30-40 g for the dough and leave the rest to spread. Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water and wait 7-10 minutes for the yeast to dissolve. Processed cheese and cottage cheese should be at room temperature or slightly warm. Put the bowl with the cottage cheese and melted cheese in another with very warm water for 30 minutes (when warm they mix very well), and it is good for the dough.

Mix the cheese and cottage cheese, add the softened butter, stir. Sift 2.5 tsp flour over the mixture and knead the dough. Knead for 5-7 minutes, sprinkling the hob with flour. The dough is very soft and will stick a little on the hands, but working with it is a pleasure. Divide it into two parts. Sprinkle the top with flour, also a little one part of the dough so that it does not stick to the rolling pin.

Roll out in the form of a circle about 5-7 mm thick, spread it all over with softened butter. Rolling takes literally a few seconds because the dough is pliable. Sprinkle the surface with grated yellow cheese and cut the circle into 8 triangles. Roll each of them into a roll (horn), starting from the wide part to the narrow one. Do the same with the rest of the dough.

Arrange the croissants in a pan, cover with foil and leave for about 30-40 minutes in a warm but not hot place to rise. Before baking, spread with the beaten egg and put a little coarse salt on top. The salt will give a more specific taste nuance when the crystal is felt during consumption.

Put the rolls in the oven at 180 degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

These croissants are most delicious when they are fresh and warm, so wait for them to cool down a bit, serve and enjoy.

Enjoy your meal!
