How To Cook Dandelion Wine With Lemon Peel And Raisins - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Dandelion wine with lemon peel and raisins". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products:

  • 1 liter jar of dandelion flowers
  • 2 lemons
  • 1.5 kilograms of sugar
  • 100 grams of raisins
  • 3-4 sprigs of mint or lemon balm

Method of preparation:

Separate the petals of dandelion flowers with a knife, pressing with its blade and pulling the stem from the base. Put the petals in a saucepan, fill them with 4 liters of boiled and cooled water, close the container with a lid and leave for a day. Then pour the sugar into a bowl, pour 500 milliliters of boiling water and simmer. When you drop a drop of syrup in water, no "soft ball" should form. Bring the dandelion infusion to a boil, remove from the heat and let cool. Strain.

Peel a lemon and grate it. Squeeze the juice from the soft part. Add the sugar syrup, raisins, balm, lemon juice and zest to the decoction you received after straining. Mix the mixture well and cover with gauze. Leave for 2 days to ferment and remove the lemon balm and lemon zest.

Pour the liquid together with the raisins into a large bottle, put a rubber glove on your throat and drill a hole in your finger. Allow to ferment in a dark place. When the process is complete, separate the precipitate and pour the liquid into bottles. Close them and store in the dark for at least 3 months.
