Required products :

1/2 cup walnuts
3/4 tea cup of almonds
12 pitted dates
1/4 tea bourbon
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla paste
1 + 1/2 tea cups coconut shavings
3 tablespoons crushed cocoa beans

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and cover pan with parchment paper.
Distribute the nuts and bake for 8-9 minutes.
Allow them to cool briefly, during which time toast 1/2 cup of coconut shavings at the same temperature for about 6 minutes. Pour into a bowl and set aside.
Put the nuts in a food processor or blender and chop them finely. Transfer to a bowl.
Combine dates, bourbon, cocoa, salt and vanilla paste in a blender. Mash to a paste-like mixture.
Add the remaining 1 cup of coconut shavings and chopped nuts and turn on the appliance until evenly distributed.
Pour the mixture into a large bowl and sprinkle with crushed cocoa beans. Knead briefly with your palms.
Use 1 tablespoon to form truffles of approximately the same size.
Roll in toasted coconut and serve.
