Required products :

  • 1 parsnip
  • 1/4 tea cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 2/3 tea cup blue cheese
  • 24 dates
  • 24 almonds
  • 24 toothpicks soaked in water

Method of preparation :

Turn the oven to 220 degrees. Cut the parsnip lengthwise with a peeler to obtain very thin strips.

Season the soy sauce with pepper, 1/4 teaspoon oil and add the parsnip strips. Leave to stand in the marinade for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, put some blue cheese and almonds in each date. Wrap the parsnip in strips and stick with a toothpick so that the parsnip does not develop.

Arrange in a pan and bake for 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks and spread the soy sauce marinade left over from the vegetables. Continue baking until the strips of parsnip become dark and crispy - another 3-5 minutes.

Serve the appetizer warm.
