Necessary products:

 

  • 1 kg of lamb
  • 200 milliliters of red wine
  • 20 grams of natural starch
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 20 grams of butter
  • two links fresh mint
  • salt and pepper
  • 30 grams of tomato puree
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 1-2 stalks of fresh thyme
  • 2-3 leaves of fresh mint

 

Method of preparation:

 

Cut the meat and cook it. Roll each piece in starch and fry in hot fat. Drain on a kitchen roll and arrange the meat in a large pan.

Sprinkle with pepper and salt to taste. In another pan, heat the butter and fry the remaining starch. Add the puree and sugar, dilute with the wine and season with finely chopped mint, thyme and bay leaves.

After the sauce boils, pour it over the lamb. Cover with a second saucepan, wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 1-2 hours in an oven preheated to 160 degrees. When ready, pour portions and serve the dish warm, sprinkled with fresh mint.
