Required products :
1 cup warm milk
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 tea cups of high quality wheat flour (maybe a little more - about 1/4 tea cup more)
4 tablespoons butter at room temperature
frying oil
jam or jam of your choice for the filling
powdered sugar for sprinkling
Method of preparation :
Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk and wait about 5 minutes for the foam to form. Then add the sugar, salt, vanilla extract, eggs and beat until the sugar dissolves. Put 2 tea cups of flour and knead a homogeneous dough. It should be sticky. If necessary, add a little more flour. Follow the butter and stir until smooth. Transfer the dough to a bowl greased with oil, cover with foil and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Cover the bottom of 2 baking trays with parchment paper and sprinkle with flour. Then spread the dough on the hob (and it sprinkled with flour), forming a layer about 1 - 1.5 cm thick.
Cut circles out of it with a diameter of about 4 cm. Arrange them in the prepared dishes. Sprinkle the donuts with a little flour, cover with foil and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
When they rise, fry them in oil heated to 180 degrees (use a large saucepan in which to pour 5 - 8 cm of fat or fryer). The donuts should turn golden, turn them on all sides while not frying. Remove the finished ones with the help of tongs or a slotted spoon and arrange them on a paper towel to drain off the excess fat.
Using a thin round tip, fill the donuts with your favorite jam. Finally sprinkle with powdered sugar and have a sweet :)
