Required products :

  • 130 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 1 vanilla pod, cut lengthwise
  • 500 grams of flour
  • 40 grams of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 7 grams of dry yeast
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 grams of soft butter
  • frying oil
  • 350 grams of raspberry jam

for spreading:

  • 400 grams of sifted powdered sugar
  • 4-5 tablespoons of fresh milk
  • pink food coloring
  • ground dried raspberries for decoration

Method of preparation:

Put the milk in the pan together with the vanilla pod. Heat on low heat. As soon as it starts to evaporate, remove from the heat and pour into a measuring cup. Add more milk if necessary to reach 130 milliliters of liquid.

Put the flour in the bowl of a mixer. Add salt, sugar and yeast. Stir and add the milk and eggs. Knead with a mixer for 10 minutes (or by hand to obtain an elastic dough).

Add the butter in portions, kneading constantly to absorb, and the dough should become sticky and soft.

Cover and leave to rise for 1 hour in the heat.

Divide it into 20 balls, which you arrange in greased pans, leaving a space between the balls.

Cover with greaseproof paper and leave to rise again for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Pour oil into a saucepan, the fat should cover 2/3 of it. When hot, fry the donuts for about 5 minutes until golden.

Take them out on a plate lined with paper.

When they are all ready, fill them with jam using a syringe.

Mix powdered sugar with a little fresh milk and color with food coloring.

Dip the donuts in the cream on one side and sprinkle with ground raspberries.
