How To Cook Dried Fruits In Chocolate With Walnuts, Almonds And Liqueur - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Dried fruits in chocolate with walnuts, almonds and liqueur". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 25 prunes
  • 25 dried apricots
  • 50 almonds or nuts from 15 walnuts
  • 250 - 300 grams of dark chocolate
  • 50 milliliters of rum, cognac or liqueur

Method of preparation :

Wash the dried fruit with warm water, drain with a colander, then make narrow incisions in them and carefully clean the stones. Drizzle with rum, cognac or liqueur and leave for a few hours to soften, stirring occasionally.

Fill the almonds with water for 1-2 minutes and peel their skins. Bake them in a dry pan on low heat until creamy. Allow to cool.

Divide the walnuts into quarters. Then with each nut (both almond and walnut) fill one dried fruit. Wrap the nuts well with the fruit so that there is no excess air inside. Melt the chocolate in a water bath, turn off the stove, but do not remove the pan from it. Dip each nut candy in the chocolate and remove from the rack to drain off the excess glaze. You can use a fork or a wooden skewer. Put the dessert in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.

Store in a container with a closed lid and in the refrigerator.

Enjoy your meal!
