Required products :

mix of dried fruits (dark and light raisins, prunes, apricots, figs)

1 cinnamon stick

3 - 4 grains of dried cloves

For syrup:

100 grams of brown sugar

100 milliliters of water

250 milliliters of brandy, rum or cognac

Method of preparation :

Put the dried fruit in layers in a pre-sterilized jar. The sequence is random, but, alternating light and dark fruits, you will get more beautiful.

Put the cinnamon stick in the jar (you can break it in two) and the cloves.

Make a syrup by dissolving the sugar in boiling water. Let cool and then add the alcoholic beverage you have chosen to use.

Pour the liquid into the container with the dried fruit and close it with a lid.

The mixture should stand for a month. You will have to fight with yourself and not open the jar :)

During this time, the fruit will absorb the aromas of spices and some of the liquid.

Enjoy your meal!
