Learn how to cook "Easter cake with lemon and chocolate glaze". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
100 grams of oil at room temperature
100 milliliters of fresh milk
100 grams of powdered sugar
100 grams of wheat flour
120 - 130 grams of corn flour
3 egg yolks
2 proteins
1 packet of baking powder
1 lemon peel
juice of 1/2 lemon
pinch of salt
For the chocolate glaze:
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon butter
25 grams of chocolate
Method of preparation :
Mix the butter with the powdered sugar.
Then add the yolks one by one, stirring thoroughly. Add the grated lemon peel and citrus juice (you can also use orange).
In a separate bowl, mix the two types of flour (sieve) and baking powder, divide into two parts. Add one to the butter-egg combination and dissolve the other in the warm milk. A thick paste is obtained, which you pour over the dough.
In a separate bowl, beat the well-chilled egg whites, then add to the dough with a wooden spoon, stirring quickly and confidently.
Line the bottom of the cake tin with baking paper. In this case, 2 are used with a diameter of 12 - 14 cm, respectively. Distribute the dough in the forms, letting the mixture occupy less than half the volume.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cake.
It takes about 45-50 minutes (cooking time depends on the form you use and the amount of dough in it).
Make the glaze. Melt honey in a water bath, add to it the broken pieces of chocolate and butter. Stir the combination with a wooden spoon until smooth and remove from the heat.
Pour the finished cake with the chocolate glaze and you can enjoy the taste.
