Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 Easter cake, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 tea cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 tea cup chocolate drops (milk or dark chocolate)

for topping:

  • 1/4 cup chocolate and cream (unsweetened)

Method of preparation :

If your Easter cake is very fresh, toast it briefly in the oven like croutons or leave the Easter cake pieces uncovered overnight to dry.

In a bowl, mix the sugar, cocoa, salt, milk, cream, eggs, cinnamon, salt and vanilla. Add the Easter cake and the chocolate drops, stir and allow the liquid to be absorbed by the Easter cake pieces for about half an hour.

Turn the oven to 175 degrees.

Grease a rectangular ceramic pan with oil and transfer the Easter cake to it. Bake for 30-40 minutes.

For the topping, melt the chocolate in the microwave for a few seconds, then mix with the cream.

Pour the cake and serve it slightly warm. If you want an even richer chocolate flavor, sprinkle with more chocolate drops.
