Required products :

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 egg at room temperature
  • 2 2/3 tea cups flour, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Method of preparation :

  • In a large bowl, beat the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla and beat again briefly.
  • Add the flour and salt and mix with a wooden spoon to form a smooth dough.
  • Cover the bowl with foil and cool the dough for at least 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough on a clean floured surface and use molds to make the cookies.
  • Transfer them to a tray that you have previously covered with baking paper.
  • Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Wait for the cookies to cool completely before serving.
