Necessary products:

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • half a bunch of fresh onions
  • 3-4 stalks of fresh dill
  • a red pepper
  • an olive or a grain of black pepper
  • 6 hard boiled eggs
  • 200-250 grams of mayonnaise
  • red pepper sprinkle
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil and lemon juice
  • fresh leaves of spinach, dock or lettuce

Method of preparation:

Boil the potatoes, peel them and while they are still warm, cut them and put them in a bowl. Add finely chopped green onions, dill, half a pepper, salt, pepper, olive oil and lemon juice. Pour 100 grams of mayonnaise and stir.

Pour the salad into a plate covered with greens (spinach, dock or lettuce) and make it in the shape of a chicken. If you have difficulty, first form an ellipse, over which add 1-2 tablespoons of the potato mixture. Using the red pepper, make a comb, beak and feathers.

Garnish with a slice of olive or black peppercorns for the eye. Peel two eggs, cut them in half V-shaped and decorate the yolks with fine slices of olive for the eyes of the chicks. Stretchers can be made from cut peppers.

Peel the remaining eggs, cut them in half and remove the yolks. Mix them with mayonnaise. Mash the mixture with a fork, stir and spread it on the egg whites.

Arrange them under the potato salad, evenly spaced and sprinkle with paprika. Serve and enjoy!

Enjoy your meal!
