Required products :

For swamps :
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 3/4 tea cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon walnut oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon boiling water
For the glaze :
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 2/3 teacups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 teacup of fresh milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teacup unsweetened cocoa powder

 

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease two round baking tins with a diameter of about 23 centimeters.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the eggs, milk, walnut oil, and vanilla and beat with a mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  • Add boiling water and stir again until homogeneous.
  • Divide it evenly into the two forms and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean from the center of the countertops.
  • Wait 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate glaze by whipping the butter into a medium bowl.
  • Add the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and cocoa and beat with a mixer until smooth.
  • Put the first tray in a plate of suitable size and distribute 1/3 of the glaze.
  • Place the second tray on top and spread the cake with the remaining icing, not forgetting to cover it on the sides.
  • Cut and serve with a smile! :)
