Required products :

  • 6 strips of bacon, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tea cups cooking cream
  • 1 teaspoon chicken broth
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 tea cups grated cheddar
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped chives

Method of preparation :

Peeled potatoes cut into thin slices (with a grater will be easiest).

Put a pan to heat and melt the butter, fry the garlic for 1 minute. Stir the flour into the butter and let it bake for 1 minute. Pour the cream and broth and stir. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Put a ladle of sauce on the bottom of a small ceramic pan and spread it on the bottom. Arrange the potatoes next to each other, overlapping the edges of the slices and pour 1-2 scoops of sauce. Sprinkle with a little cheddar and slices of bacon. Repeat 3-4 times until the pan is full.

Bake for about 40-50 minutes at 200 degrees.
