Learn how to cook "Egg roll with carrots, meat stuffing and dried tomatoes". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 300 grams of carrots
  • 20 grams of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 grams of flour
  • 1/3 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • dried herbs, pepper, salt
  • 300 grams of meat of your choice
  • 70 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 15 grams of dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon starch (corn)
  • 50 grams of onion (old)

Method of preparation :

Washed and peeled carrots grate on a coarse or medium grater. Stew them in butter for 5 minutes, adding a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar. When the vegetables soften, remove the pan from the heat, close with a lid and let stand for 5 minutes, then allow to cool.

Beat the eggs to a thick foam. They will increase their volume twice and a half. Use a blender.

Pour them over the carrots, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, a little black pepper, a pinch of dried herbs and the soda quenched in the lemon juice. Mix everything and then pour the sifted flour. Stir again using a silicone spatula.

Cover with parchment form (approximately 32 x 24 cm), grease with oil or butter. Pour the egg dough into it, flatten the layer and bake in the oven at 180 degrees until the base is slightly reddened and a pleasant aroma is felt (about 15 minutes).

On a sheet of parchment, turn the finished sheet and cover it with a wet towel, which is removed after 10-15 minutes.

Using a blender, grind the preferred meat together with the onion until smooth. Pour the milk, it will give softness to the minced meat. Add 1 tablespoon of starch (without tip), salt, a little ground black pepper and grated nutmeg. Mix everything very thoroughly.

Spread the filling evenly on the carrot-egg base, put pieces of dried tomatoes and form a roll.

Wrap it in foil and place in a preheated 180 degree oven for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and let the roll bake for another 15 minutes.

Leave it to cool in the foil and put it in the fridge for a few hours.

Once cool, cut into pieces of your preferred thickness and serve.

Enjoy your meal!
