Required products :
2 eggplants
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon cumin
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method of preparation :
Wash the aubergines and cut them in half lengthwise. Make incisions in the soft part, season with salt and pepper, put 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil on each piece and bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for about an hour.
Pour the sesame seeds in a blender, add the remaining olive oil and grind. The result is sesame paste, which you can use to season the salad. Only 2 tablespoons of it will be needed for the dip.
Take the aubergines out of the oven, scoop out the inside with a spoon and put it in the blender. Add the mentioned 2 spoons of pasta, cumin and beat well. You can add extra salt if you prefer.
Finally, pour the lemon juice and the dip is ready. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. It is suitable for serving any appetizers.
